Vlieseline L 11 is a soft, lightweight sew-in interfacing designed to provide gentle support without adding bulk or stiffness. It is particularly well suited to lightweight and delicate fabrics, making it a great choice for blouses, dresses and other garments where you want to retain a soft, comfortable drape.
Ideal for reinforcing smaller areas such as collars and cuffs, L 11 can also be used on front sections of garments and for a variety of craft projects. Because it is sewn in rather than fused, it is especially useful for heat-sensitive fabrics, including crushed and pleated materials that cannot be ironed.
Cut the interfacing to the required shape and position it against the wrong side of your fabric. Sew it into place by hand or using your sewing machine before continuing with the construction of your garment or project.
As L 11 does not require heat to apply, it is a particularly useful option when working with delicate, pleated or textured fabrics that could be damaged or distorted by an iron.
We recommend testing the interfacing with a scrap of your chosen fabric before beginning your project.
