Vlieseline G 770 is a versatile medium-weight fusible woven interfacing designed to add structure and support while retaining a soft, comfortable feel. Made from 100% polyester, it has a softly textured surface and provides an excellent balance of softness, volume and resilience.
Ideal for medium to heavyweight fabrics, G 770 is particularly useful for reinforcing jacket and blazer fronts, waistbands and smaller garment pieces. It is suitable for a wide range of fashion fabrics, including more sensitive materials, and provides a strong, durable bond when applied using a domestic iron.
Cut the interfacing lengthwise, following the grain direction. Place the coated side against the wrong side of your fabric and cover with a damp cloth. Press section by section for approximately 8 seconds, lifting and repositioning the iron rather than sliding it across the fabric.
Once fused, leave the fabric pieces lying flat for approximately 30 minutes to cool and allow the bond to stabilise.
