For ironing fabrics and textiles which are sensitive to heat, even at the lowest setting, the Prym range offers the iron shoe in white silicon. It mitigates the heat, preventing the fabric from developing a surface gloss and other undesirable side effects of too great a heat. The film has many holes, which are sufficient to allow the steam to escape. A sturdy steel spring secures the shoe to the iron.
