What are HLx5 Sewing Machine Needles Used For?

HLx5 needles are used in industrial or semi-industrial sewing machines such as the Janome HD9, Janome 1600P and Brother PQ1600. HLx5 needles should only be used if your machine specifically recommends them - if in doubt please check your manual. These needles feature a reinforced shank and blade to reduce deflection at high speeds. Theses will not be compatible with normal 'domestic' sewing machines.
