Annelle is a semi-fitted dress with a trapeze silhouette. The bust darts have been transferred to side seams. Annelle features long wide straps with free-hanging ends. The dress has a square neckline and a free-hanging lining. Annelle is above-knee length.
Instructions for Viki Sews patterns are downloaded in PDF format via a QR code that is printed on the pattern pieces. The instructions can then either be printed or read directly from your phone, tablet or PC.
Recommended fabrics
To sew this dress, choose woven fabrics with the following properties:
- medium or heavy weight, low drape, non-stretch or with very little stretch
- the fibre content can include natural fibres (wool, silk, cotton, linen), artificial (viscose), blends (wool / silk, wool / polyester, cotton / viscose, etc) and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane)
- the following fabrics are recommended: sateen, poplin, linen, broderie, jacquard, light or medium weight denim.
For the lining, the following fabrics are recommended: cotton shirting, sateen, poplin, linen, batiste.
We do not recommend stretchy knit materials. The fabric should have little drape and hold its shape.

- 100% linen, both main fabric and lining. The fabric is medium-weight, has little drape and no stretch.
