Delivery Information

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. Over 95% of orders placed before 3pm are dispatched the same day. A very small number of items (for example cross stitch kits) may take up to 3 working days to dispatch. If you need your item urgently please contact us to confirm.

Smaller orders are sent via standard Royal Mail 48. Royal Mail aim to deliver the majority of items within two working days after dispatch, with a small minority within three working days after dispatch. However, this is not a guaranteed service and items are not deemed lost by the Royal Mail until 10 working days have passed. If you require guaranteed delivery please contact us before you place your order.

Larger orders such as sewing machines are dispatched via a courier next working day service and require a signature upon receipt.

Some bulky items (such as sewing machine cabinets or dressforms) will require extra postage to Northern Ireland and other remote parts of the UK. Please email us if in doubt.

Horn sewing machine cabinets and furniture can take up to 28 days for delivery. Please contact us for more information.

If you are placing an order from outside the UK you will not be charged UK VAT (this will be reflected in the prices after you enter your address at the checkout page). However, you may be liable for import duties and taxes as dictated by your country. If relevant, your local authorities will inform you of the charges and how you can pay them in order to release the parcel. We are unable to predict and calculate the charges. For further information on your country's customs policies refer to your local customs office.

Overseas shipping costs are based on the weight and size of your parcel.

To see an estimate of shipping costs, add the products to your basket, then select your country from 'Estimate Delivery Cost' box on the basket screen. Occasionally the estimated amount may not cover the cost of shipping and we will contact you to inform you and arrange payment for any additional costs.

We endeavour to ship overseas items as quickly as possible, and orders will usually be dispatched within 3 working days. All overseas order are sent either by Royal Mail Airmail or courier depending on the size and value of the order. Although the majority of orders should be received promptly, please allow up to 20 working days for delivery from the date of dispatch.
