This cropped, casual jacket has got attitude - and that's especially true when you're wearing it! Avril features a standing collar, a hidden button placket, unique sleeves and cuffs. The gusseted patch pockets have a button flap. Want an edgier look? Leave the buttons off the flap. More volume in the jacket? There's a drawstring waist for that. Want it longer? Recommended fabrics
Choosing a solid coloured fabric will make a gorgeous minimalist Avril and let all the fun jacket details shine! Whatever your colour/print choice, be sure to use a woven fabric. Avril is a versatile pattern - light, medium and heavyweight fabrics (e.g. cotton twill, linen, crepe, jacquard) will all work.

Delivered Paper Pattern
If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF, along with the digital pattern files, when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
PDF Digital Download
If you choose the PDF digital download option, a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email. We recommend creating an account before placing your order so you can easily access your files again by logging in at any time. The following files are included to print at home:
