Jalie 3355 sweatshirt and joggers pattern

Jalie 3355 sweatshirt, hoody and joggers pattern

Jalie 3355 includes a classic hoody sweatshirt, a crew neck sweatshirt and joggers pattern plus it covers sizes from a child age 2 to an adult size 22, which is a 50" bust, 44" waist and 53" hip . All in all fantastic value for money.

I made the hoody a few years ago and have worn it so much, it is comfy and cosy sewn up in our fleece backed sweatshirt fabric. Sadly we no longer have the gold colourway, however, I think it would look perfect sewn up in this petrol colourway sweatshirt fabric instead.

Sewaholic Fraser sweatshirt pattern

Sewaholic sweatshirt pattern

The Sewaholic Fraser sweatshirt pattern is a classic crewneck sweater with three views - a simple crewneck, a crewneck with a colour blocked bodice and sleeve or a short sleeved version with a Peter Pan style collar.

It runs up to a size 20, which is a 45" bust, 39" waist and 51" hip.

I made the colour block version many moons ago and it was great fun to sew even as a relative beginner. I felt such a sense of accomplishment when the colour block matched up across the bodice and the sleeve.

I love the styling of the simple crew neck on the images sewn up in a quilted sweatshirt fabric with a contrast collar and cuffs. I thought you could create something similar with our pale grey flecked quilted sweatshirt fabric and charcoal ribbing fabric for the collar and cuffs.

Sew House Seven Toaster sweatshirt pattern

Sew House Seven Toaster sweater pattern

The Toaster sweater has to be one of the most popular sweatshirt patterns over the years and comes with two views - a funnel neck, semi cropped sweater with a wide hem, deep cuffs and raglan sleeves or a slash neck with a high low hem, side vents and a slightly dropped sleeve.

It runs up to an XXL, which is a 47" bust, 39 1/2" waist and 50" hip.

The first view works better with a stiffer knit or sweatshirt fabric to keep the funnel neck standing up - I made it in a ponte many years ago and it was cosy and comfy.

I think the relaxed, slash neck view would work really well in our gorgeous, glittery French terry fabric in mint with the super soft looped back wrong side for extra cosiness.

Named Patterns Talvikki sweater pattern

Named Clothing Talvikki sweater pattern

The Talvikki sweater by Named Patterns has some gorgeous, unique design details - a funnel neck shaped with darts and deep side vents. I love the way this combines all the comfort and cosiness of a sweatshirt, but makes it stand out from the crowd in terms of sweatshirt patterns.

It runs up to a size XXL - a 51 5/8" bust, 45 1/4" waist and 54 3/4" hip.

I think it would look super pretty sewn up in our glittery French terry fabric in rose.

Megan Nielsen Jarrah sweatshirt pattern

Megan Nielsen Jarrah sweater pattern

The Megan Nielsen Jarrah sweater gives you four different options for sweatshirts making it great value for money and maximum sewing entertainment value too.

It is a loose fit, drop sleeve, sweater pattern and has options for a crew neck or funnel neck, sleeves with cuffs or vents, a waist tie option, hi lo hem or cuffed hem so there are lots of ways to create different looks from just one pattern.

It runs up to a size 20 - a 46" bust, 38" waist and 48" hip.

I love the waist tie version for something a little bit different and would sew it up in our sparkly glitter French terry fabric in pale blue. The wrong side of this fabric is like a winceyette and is so unbelievably soft you'll never want to take it off!

Closet Core Mile End sweatshirt pattern

Closet Core Mile End sweater pattern

The Mile End sweatshirt pattern is ultra contemporary as I'd always expect from Closet Core and two of the three views include unique details compared to the other sweater patterns we've looked at.

The first view is a hoody with a cross over deep V neckline, kangaroo pockets and a dropped sleeve. The second view is a dropped sleeve crew neck and has a fun ruched drawstring effect at the hem. The third is a classic crewneck.

It runs up to a size 20 - a 46" bust, 39" waist and 48" hip.

I think the hoody version would look perfect sewn up in our fuschia fleece backed sweatshirt fabric.

Tilly and the Buttons Billie sweatshirt and dress pattern

Tilly and the Buttons Billie sweater pattern

The Tilly and the Buttons sweatshirt and dress pattern is a crewneck sweater with options for a straight or balloon sleeve and gathered shoulder detail.

The top sits on the hip and the dress is a mini finishing above the knee and has cutaway pockets as an additional fun feature.

It runs up to a size 10 - a 48" bust, 42" waist and 51" hip.

I think any of the versions would look great sewn up in our monochrome ponte fabric.
