There's a reason it's a coat worthy of Sherlock Holmes… And admit it, a trench coat of your own looks really nice on your sewista CV. Here we go: storm flaps in front and back, belted waist, collar and lapels, graceful back split, and patch pockets. You can do this.
Recommended fabrics
A slightly stiffer fabric gives the best results. Go classic British with gabardine or twill cotton, or for a contemporary metamorphosis choose nylon or denim.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF, along with the digital pattern files, when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
