Fausta is celebrating the return of the pleated skirt and we are enthusiastically celebrating along! This midi skirt has a shaped waistband with button closure and a concealed zip in the side seam. Pair with a cool Alice jumper in knitted fabric for a casual look or transform Fausta into a party piece and combine with an elegant blouse like Eza. Business chic? Then go for a timeless T-shirt and classic blazer. Fausta takes effort to sew and press, but oh so worth it!
Recommended fabrics
Freedom of choice is great for Fausta, as both a stiff and a supple fabric will do perfectly. However, the effect is completely different: a stiffer fabric like cotton twill or poplin will make it a statement piece. If you choose a supple fabric like viscose (crepe), your skirt will look less bombastic and especially dashing. Lyocell or a beautiful woollen fabric are also options.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF, along with the digital pattern files, when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.
PDF Digital Download
If you choose the PDF digital download option, a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email. We recommend creating an account before placing your order so you can easily access your files again by logging in at any time. The following files are included to print at home:
