Fans of skirts should definitely go with this pattern, because Livia not only looks very feminine, you can also style this skirt in different ways. The elegance is of course in the pleats and the midi length, but also in the details. For example, Livia has side pockets with a flap in the side seam (which you could also leave out if you prefer), a straight waistband with button closure and a zip in the back.
Recommended fabrics
Freedom of choice is what you get for Livia, as both a stiff and a supple fabric will do perfectly. However, the effect is completely different: a stiffer fabric like twill cotton or poplin will make it a statement piece. If you choose a supple fabric such as viscose (crepe), your skirt will flow wonderfully. Lyocell or a beautiful woollen fabric are also options.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF, along with the digital pattern files, when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.

If you choose the PDF digital download option, a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email.
