A skirt with sleeves? Absolutely! Mireya features charming ties at the waist that double as sleeves, a playful trend this season. Looking for a more classic look? Then simply leave them out. We created this lined skirt at knee length, but you can adjust it to suit your preferences. Mireya has an elegant overlapping slit at the back and a concealed zip fastening.
Recommended fabrics
Mireya, with its sleeve ties, looks best in drapey fabrics with a touch of structure. Think wool (in a check, perhaps), double crepe or a soft twill with some body. For the version without the sleeve ties, where the fabric takes centre stage, you can really experiment with materials and textures. Try statement fabrics such as metallic-coated textiles, lightly quilted fabric, tweed, faux leather or suede, fabrics with a brushed or textured pile, brocade, or crinkled and pleated designs — just make sure the fabric isn’t too thin or lightweight.

If you opt for the printed paper pattern we'll print it on our in-house large format A0 printer and post it to your address.
We remove the stitching lines when we print Fibre Mood patterns to avoid confusion when cutting out your size.
Please note that we don’t print the instructions. These will be emailed to you as a PDF, along with the digital pattern files, when we dispatch your paper pattern.
Occasionally some large pattern pieces may be split across two A0 sheets and will need to be joined together.

If you choose the PDF digital download option, a link to download your pattern files will be included in your order confirmation email.
