A wrap dress that won't unwrap! This wrap-style dress and blouse features a flattering crossover neckline, but the skirt section is one piece. Walk in the wind with confidence knowing your skirt won't flip open!
Short flutter sleeves are comfortable to wear and balance wider hips. The tie belt covers the elastic waistline, or wear your own belts to change up the look. An optional button & loop at the front neckline keeps the front from revealing too much. You could also skip the button and wear a camisole underneath, or tack the facing in place at the overlap. Hidden inseam pockets on the dress version add practicality.
View A is a knee length dress with inseam pockets, and View B is a hip-length blouse.
Sizing is proportioned for a pear-shaped figure: smaller bust and waist, larger hips.
Recommended fabrics
Lightweight woven fabrics such as cotton voile or lawn, rayon challis, silk charmeuse or crepe. Choose a fabric with drape for best results. Allow extra fabric to match plaids, stripes or one-way designs.
